Neon Drift Rally

Neon Drift Rally is unapologetically arcade. Cars grip like they're on rails until you tap to break traction, and then it's all about holding a long glowing drift through the corner. Nail a full chain and the speed boost feels earned rather than handed to you.

The tracks are built for this, with sweeping bends and shortcuts that only open up if you commit. Tilt or touch steering both work, though I settled on the touch controls after a few races. The sense of speed is excellent for a mobile game.

Progression unlocks new cars and paint jobs, nothing groundbreaking, but the driving is good enough that I kept racing for the racing. Ghost times against your own best runs are a nice touch.
