Tile Garden

Tile Garden is a puzzle game with a soft heart. You slide and merge tiles to clear the board, and each cleared level nudges your little garden into bloom. It sounds twee and it kind of is, but the puzzle underneath is smarter than the cozy wrapper suggests.

The difficulty ramps gently for a long while, then quietly gets tricky around the sixtieth stage or so, where you have to plan several moves out. I appreciated that it never resorts to timers or stress. You solve at your own speed.

It's a perfect one-hand, one-minute game for a queue or a break. Not the deepest thing on this list, but it's charming and it knows exactly what it wants to be.
